The Challenge

We first incorporated SMS messaging into our marketing strategy in 2020 and saw incredibly strong results right away. In 2021, we ramped up our efforts into leveraging Attentive’s platform for many more clients with the goal of increasing sales, growing customer databases, and more effectively engaging with fans across the board.

The Concept

In a world of over-full email inboxes and chaotic social media feeds, SMS marketing has proven to be one of the most direct and effective ways to engage with our clients’ fans and customers. We’ve noticed a few reasons why this channel is so powerful.

  • Attentive’s seamless two-tap sign up process allows fans to opt-in for both email and text marketing quickly and easily.
  • Messages can be personalized, behavioral, and even interactive which allows us greater insight into who our customers are and what they are looking for.
  • We’re reaching the fans where they are. On average, Americans check their phones 96 times per day and most texts are read within 3 minutes of being received.
  • Customer data is owned rather than borrowed. This means that even when large-scale changes happen on platforms like Google and Facebook, clients’ access to and usage of their SMS database remains in their control.
