David Bowie would have turned 75 in January, but the celebrations of his legacy have already begun. On October 25, the Bowie Official Store launched “Bowie 75,” a limited-time event in Bowie’s memory.
Fans can shop the new collection until late January 2022 online at the Official Store and at two pop up shops, each located at a significant landmark of Bowie’s life.
One shop is in Soho, the NYC neighborhood that Bowie called home for more than 20 years. The other shop is on Heddon Street in London, the site of his famous “Ziggy Stardust” album cover. Both shops offer an immersive experience to visitors, including 360 Reality Audio, rare archival HD video footage, career-spanning photographic exhibitions, iconic instagrammable costumes and sets, and a series of special guests.
The “Bowie 75” collection features a unique line of branded merchandise, and limited edition items like rare apparel, collectibles, small batch vinyls, and CDs.
Fans can expect a series of music and merch drops throughout the next 3 months. Stay updated on the schedule of exclusive retail drops, and explore all the ways to engage with Bowie’s birthday celebrations through the bowie75.com website.
